During the inn scene, Grandma Layton (the inn keeper) was telling Mary and Joseph (me and Nate) that there was no room. We needed to go somewhere else to sleep. Morgan who was standing next to her in her cute angel costume then called out "There's room upstairs!" (which happened to be where we were staying) :)

Christmas Eve
A couple days before Christmas, Amanda and Jennifer stopped by again. They were nice enough to give Morgan and Caden Christmas presents. It just so happens that they also were part of history for Caden. This was Cade's first present EVER! And it was from them.

Christmas Eve on the Feher side. We have a tradition of getting the kids together and decorating cookies and leaving some of them for Santa. We then have Grandpa Feher read the Christmas story while the kids act it out with puppets that their great Aunt Charlette made for them. Super cute. (however, I don't know where the pictures are. I'm thinking we just video taped it so that might have to come later.)
Morgan concentrated very hard on her cookies. Or at least eating most of the candy!
We are still trying to make our own family traditions and so this year we decided a present can be opened up Christmas Eve (normally we do that at Nate's parents house but they didn't get us pajamas...so we did it ourselves).
Back at the Layton house we again acted out the Nativity story. Morgan wanted to be the angel and boy does that fit! Cutest angel I've ever seen. This year I got promoted and was able to be the part of Mary. (I think it's only because I had a baby who was playing the role of Jesus).
Morgan also wanted to be Mary. (That would have been one BIG baby! :) it was really sweet.

And of course we had to leave milk and cookies for Santa and we wrote a little note for him. (and a little treat for the reindeer).
