Kyeong-Ju

In October (because we got the weekend off from church) we went down to Kyeong-Ju. Kyeong-Ju is one of the few cities in Korea that has been preserved since the old Korean dynasties through all of the Korean wars. Here are some highlights from the trip.

Debbie, Morgan and Caden in front of the entrance to a famous buddhist temple.

Debbie and Morgan continuing their quest at attempting to influence the Korean people from putting up the peace sign in all of their pictures to the number 3.

Morgan in front of a famous Pagoda.

Smiling like the turtle :) The biggest turtle that Morgan has ever seen.

A dormitory for monks at the Buddhist temple (not used anymore).

A really old bell.

Who is that man in the mustache?

We ate lunch late that day b/c we had an incident where Morgan threw up in the car and that delayed us a little. We got a whole room for ourselves and had a traditional Korean barbeque meal where they brought out all of there side dishes. It was good!

When we went down to KyeongJu we stayed in the nearby city Taegu (about an hour away). We ended up staying there because there is an army base in Taegu and we can stay on the base cheaper than we can anywhere else in Korea. There was a children's museum that we visited and we got a picture of Morgan becoming an astronaut.

Morgan, Caden and Nate waiting in line with all of the Korean kids to ride the train.

Morgan having the time of her life, and Daddy trying to make sure she doesn't fall off!
